The Origin of HaloFire: Where Innovation Met Obsession
Vortex fire has existed in nature for thousands of years — but nobody had ever turned it into a clean-burning, controllable outdoor torch. That challenge became my obsession.
I spent years experimenting with airflow, chamber design, and fuel behavior, determined to create a vortex flame that didn’t require gas lines, propane tanks, or dangerous alcohol fuels. The result became the world’s first vortex torch that runs on liquid oil fuel — something no one had achieved before.
But the breakthrough came with the Spinner.
Perfecting the spin required hundreds of prototypes, redesigns, late nights, and failures. Once the airflow equation was finally solved, I secured a utility patent for the Spinner — the key component that gives HaloFire its signature, sculpted flame movement.
HaloFire didn’t start as a product line. It started as a wild idea — a passion project that grew into a new category of outdoor fire. Today, thousands of homeowners, designers, and resorts get to experience something nature inspired, but engineering made possible.
