Fuel guide

CitroFlame™ is a highly refined, low smoke citronella oil. It gives the larger, hotter flame that Vortek is built around and is naturally mosquito active. ClearFire™ burns completely smoke free and soot free, is made without ethanol, and is the fuel of choice for Lotus, Triton, tabletop torches and wall mounts where clean glass and clean walls matter. Big Revo and the Lotus Firebowl run on either. Never use liquid ethanol, gasoline, traditional tiki oil or any other combustible fuel.

Burn time and the Gator Bowl

Most models offer up to 3 hours of continuous flame per fill. Big Revo and Lotus torches paired with the Gator Bowl fuel container run up to 5 hours. Triton burns for about an hour by design. Fuel costs around a dollar an hour of use. Pour fuel to the fill line, let the SpinFire™ wick soak for a few minutes, then light. Never refuel while lit.

Guarantee and returns

Liquid fuel torches carry a 2 year guarantee on construction and a 30 day money back or satisfaction guarantee. Return the torch within 30 days in resalable condition with all original parts for a refund of the product purchase price; the customer covers return shipping. Finishes are not covered because climates vary. Use a canvas cover and bring torches in during storms.

Safety basics

Outdoor use only. Keep a 6 ft clearance from combustibles, from guests and between torches. Never leave a burning torch unattended or move it while lit. Extinguish with the snuffer, never by blowing, and allow at least 30 minutes to cool before handling, refilling or moving. Use only HaloFire brand fuels and keep an ABC extinguisher nearby. CitroFlame™ Citronella Fuel

A highly refined, low smoke citronella oil that burns clean and bright without over sooting the torch. Naturally mosquito active, it produces the larger, hotter flame that Vortek is built around, rising higher and spinning harder in natural airflow.

48 in galvanized, powder coated pole with an integrated ground stake for lawns, gardens, mulch and sand.

Patio stand system

5 lb for light breezes, 7 lb for moderate, 12 lb for wind prone decks and rooftops. Add the glamping spike for soft ground.

Rail clamp kit

Clamps to 1 to 2.5 in deck and balcony rails with a 24 in pole. No drilling, ideal for rentals and upper patios.

Liquid fuel questions

How long will my torch burn?

It depends on the torch and how you configure it. Most models offer up to 3 hours of continuous flame, and setups paired with the Gator Bowl extend to up to 5 hours. Triton burns for about an hour by design.
Which fuel should I use?

CitroFlame™ for Vortek and for anywhere mosquitoes are a problem: it gives the biggest flame. ClearFire™ for Lotus, Triton, tabletop torches and wall mounts, where a smoke free, soot free burn keeps glass and walls clean. Big Revo and the Lotus Firebowl run on either. ClearFire™ works in Vortek for shorter sessions of about an hour and a half but produces a smaller flame.
Can I use standard tiki torch oil?

Not recommended. Traditional tiki oils burn dirty, create soot and cloud the glass quickly. HaloFire fuels were designed for clarity, burn quality and cost, around a dollar an hour of use. Performance with other fuels cannot be guaranteed. Never use liquid ethanol, gasoline or other combustible fuels.
Are the torches resistant to wind?

HaloFire torches are engineered to outperform standard tiki torches in real outdoor conditions. The vortex design and airflow system help maintain a stable flame when the wind picks up, and Vortek actually spins harder in a breeze. Choose the patio stand weight for your wind conditions and bring torches indoors during storms.
How quickly can you ship for an event?

Typical processing time is 1 to 5 business days. Shipping runs about 1 to 2 days to the West Coast and 4 to 5 days to the East Coast. For a specific delivery date, call or email and the fastest available option will be arranged.
